Crab Chowder

1 small onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon flour
2 cup chicken stock
2 cups evaporated milk
2 cup tomato juice
1 cup cooked potato cubes
1 lb. crab meat
1/8 teaspoon paprika
salt and pepper

Fry onion in oil till clear. Add flour, chicken stock, and milk. Cook stirring often till smooth. Pour into double boiler and continue cooking. Add remaining ingredients and cook until heated.
