Crab Manicotti

8 manicotti shells or 20 large stuffing shells
1 (6 oz) pkg frozen crabmeat, thawed.
1 1/2 c ricotta cheese
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
2 TBSP minced parsley
1 TBSP grated onion
2/3 cup provolone cheese, grated

1 15 oz cans tomato sauce
2 tsp sugar
1 C chicken broth
3 tsp Italian seasonings

Cook manicotti or shells according to directions on pkg.

Mix crabmeat and liquid, cheese (ricotta), walnuts, parsley, and onion. Stuff into shells. Place in a single layer in a 11x7x2 inch baking pan and pour 1/2 the sauce over the shells or manicotti. Sprinkle with provolone and bake at 375 for 30 minutes. Serve remaining sauce on the side.

Sauce: Mix sauce ingredients and cook for about 15 minutes on simmer.
