Salmon Asparagus Pie
1 lb asparagus cut into 1 inch pieces
2 medium green onions sliced
1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
1 can (6 oz) canned salmon, drained and flaked
1 cup Bisquick original baking mix
1 3/4 cup milk
1 1/2 tsp chopped fresh or 1/2 tsp dried basil
1/8 tsp pepper
Heat oven to 400° F and grease pie pan 10 1/2 inches.
Sprinkle into pie plate in this order: Asparagus, onion, 3/4 cup cheese and salmon.
Stir remaining ingredients (except cheese), together until well blended. Pour over salmon.
Bake uncovered for 40 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted into center comes out clean. Immediately sprinkle with cheese and bake 2 minutes more until cheese is< melted. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
