Lemon Butter Broiled Salmon Steaks
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 t. prepared mustard
2 T. butter or margarine
1 T. lemon juice
1 t. paprika
1/8 t. each dried matjoram and pepper 2 salmon steaks, about 3/4" thick
snipped parsley and lemon twists, for garnish
About 35 minutes before dinner, preheat broiler 10 minutes.
Mix together mayonnaise and mustard.
In small saucepan, over low heat, melt butter and blend in lemon juice, paprika, marjoram and pepper.
Lay salmon steaks on foil lined broiler pan; brush with butter mixture. Broil, about 8 minutes or until golden, brushing once with butter sauce. Turn, brush with butter sauce, broil 5 to 7 minutes or until salmon flakes easily, but is still moist. Serve, sprinkled with 2 T. snipped parsley & garnished with 2 lemon twists; pass mustard sauce.
