2 pounds large fresh scallops
1/2 cup milk or light cream
1/4 cup madeira wine or dry white wine
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon minced onion
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
2 teaspoons crushed fresh rosemary
Salt and pepper to taste
3/4 to 1 cup soft bread crumbs
Preheat oven to 450.
Arrange scallops in shallow 2 quart baking dish. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over scallops. Bake for 15 minutes.
