Bar-B-Que Shrimp, New Orleans Style
1 1/2 sticks butter
1/2 cup olive oil
6 toes garlic
3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp.cayenne pepper
1 Tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
2 lbs. shrimp, deheaded, washed and drained with shells on
Melt butter in pan. Add all other ingredients except shrimp. Heat 5 minutes.
Place shrimp in 13x9 inch baking pan. Add heated ingredients. Squeeze 1 1/2 lemons over pan.
Bake approximately 10 minutes or until shrimp are pink; check after 5 minutes and stir. Squeeze remaining 1/2 lemon over pan.
Serve with French bread for dipping in sauce.
