Shrimp Mull

1 lb. bacon
1 medium onion, sliced
1 stick butter
2 (No. 2) cans tomatoes (1 lb. 4 oz. or about 2 1/2 cups)
1 (10 oz.) can tomato soup, undiluted
1 clove garlic, crushed
5 lb. raw shrimp, deveined
15 drops Tabasco sauce
1 small bottle Heinz hot catsup
1 cup celery, chopped
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. curry powder
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. celery seed


Dice bacon and fry with onions in large pot. Add butter, tomatoes, tomato soup, crushed garlic and catsup. Add bacon and onions. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours. Add celery, spices and raw shrimp. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour. Makes 3 quarts.
