Caraway Tuna Melt(Low Calorie)
2 oz. drained tuna
1/3 c. cottage cheese
1 slice toast (optional)
dash of each: paprika, cumin, black pepper, caraway seed and onion powder (to taste)
Combine cottage cheese and seasonings; blend. Mix with tuna. Spread on toast. Place on aluminum foil. Broil until brown. Makes 1 serving.
Tasty Tuna Melt
1 (3 1/2 oz.) can tuna, drained flaked
1/4 c. chopped celery
1 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
1/3 c. boiling water
1 envelope Lipton cream of chicken flavor Cup-a-Soup
1 English muffin, halved and toasted
2 slices American cheese
In bowl combine tuna, celery, onion and Cup-a-Soup blended with water. Spoon onto muffin halves; top with cheese. Broil until cheese is melted. Makes about 1 serving.
Recipe can be doubled.
