Fried Turtle

1 c. cornmeal
1 c. flour
salt
pepper
turtle meat


Parboil the turtle meat in pressure cooker for 30 minutes at slow rock of weight. Pour off the water. Roll the meat in dry ingredients, then deep fry until golden brown. Season to taste. Serve immediately.
