Caramel Apple Crunch

6 large apples, unpeeled, cored and diced
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 stick oleo


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place apple chunks in a 9" pie pan. Dissolve sugar in water and pour over apples.

Mix brown sugar, flour and butter or oleo. Sprinkle over apples. Bake for 1 hour.

Serve warm or cold. To serve: Cut into squares or spoon out topped with whipped cream.
