Chocolate Caramel Apple
Cheap'n'easy is chopping up some nuts in a shallow bowl, melting some chocolate chips in a pot, and melting a bunch of Kraft caramels in another pot.
Then you wash and dry an apple and stick a popsicle stick in it. Using the stick as a handle, dip the apple in the caramel and let dry on waxed paper, then briefly dip the apple in the chocolate (several times, if desired, drying between dips).
Do not dry after the last roll in the chocolate ... instead roll it in the nuts, *then* dry.
