Crescent Caramel Apple Puffs
1 (8 oz) can Crescent rolls
1 apple, peeled, cored and cut into 8 wedges
2 tbsp sugar
1/4 c chopped peanuts
1/3 c powdered sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla
2 to 3 tsp milk
Preheat to 375. Separate dough into 8 triangles.
Coat apple wedges with sugar. Place 1 apple wedge, 1 caramel and 1 tsp peanuts on shortest side of each triangle. Fold corners over filling and roll to opposite point, then pinch edges to seal. Place in ungreased muffin cups. Repeat with remaining apple wedges, caramels and triangles.
Bake in preheated oven at 375 for 10 to 15 mintues, or until golden brown. Remove from pan immediately.
Combine ingredients for glaze and drizzle over rolls while warm. Sprinkle with remaining nuts. Serve warm.
