Sour Cream Apple Pie in Walnut Crust

1 (8 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
1 cup confectioners’ (10X) sugar
1 (8 oz.) carton frozen nondairy whipped topping, thawed (Cool Whip®)
1 (21 oz.) can apple pie filling
1/2 cup sour cream
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 cup raisins

Walnut Crust:
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup all-purpose flour


Crust: Combine walnuts, margarine and flour until well mixed. Press into 10-inch pie plate. Bake at 350° F. for 25 minutes. Cool.

Sour Cream and Apple Fillings: Blend together cream cheese and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Fold in whipped topping. Spread over walnut crust. Top with apple pie filling. Combine sour cream, cinnamon and raisins, mixing well. Spread over top of pie. Chill. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts as desired.

Makes 6 to 8 servings.
