Baked Apples
2 tablespoons cinnamon
1/2 cup sugar
6 apples
butter
foil
At Home: Mix together cinnamon and sugar and place in a small air tight container.
At Campsite: Wash apple. Cut out core being careful not to cut through the bottom. Fill with cinnamon and sugar mixture. Add a dot of butter. Set on a piece of heavy foil. Pull up sides and twist top to look like a Hershey Kiss. Make sure that it fits tight around the apple and all the edges are sealed. Repeat for each apple. Place in the ashes away from the flames. After 15 minutes remove from foil and enjoy!
Caramel Apples: Follow the directions above except fill with 1 1/2 Kraft caramels cut up into quarters.

Campfire Eclairs
1 pkg Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
1 Pkg. vanilla instant pudding
1 container ready-made chocolate frosting
1/2" wooden dowel
Mix vanilla pudding according to directions on package. Spoon into an empty, clean mustard squeeze bottle. Chill. Wet dowel so it won't burn in the fire. Wrap crescent roll around the dowel, coil it around in a spiral and pinch seams together. Toast over the fire slowly until golden brown. Pull roll off the dowel. Fill the center with pudding by squeezing bottle into one end. Spread the top with chocolate frosting.
