Apricot Liqueur

1 pound dried apricots
1 quart vodka
1 cup sugar

In a large container, combine all ingredients and cover loosely. Let stand for 7 weeks, stirring once every two weeks. Serve as an after dinner liqueur.

The apricots may be removed from the liqueur and used in the following ways. Folded into vanilla pudding, bread pudding or rice puddings. In Christmas fruit cakes Fruit Balls with a toothpick They can be stuffed with cream cheese and served with a toothpick. They can be dipped in candy making chocolate.
