Blueberry Criss Cross Sheet Cake

1/2 pound butter
1 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
3 egg yolks
1/2 pint sour cream
1 teaspoon lemon juice or 1 teaspoon rind.
2 cans blueberry pie filling
3 egg whites

Cream butter and sugar together. Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together; add to creamed mixture. Mix egg yolks with sour cream and lemon; add to flour mixture. Mix to a soft dough and use about 2/3, working out on cookie sheet with hands. Spread with pie filling.

Beat egg whites - spread over filling. Use remaining dough to make strips and layer lattice fashion over egg whites. Sprinkle nuts over top. Bake at 350 degees for 30 minutes.
