Cherry Pudding Cake

1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 qt. fresh cherries or any kind of fruit such as raspberries


Beat sugar and eggs together. Add flour and baking powder; mix well. Stir in fruit or raspberries. Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350 F for 40 to 45
minutes or until done.
