Peach Cobbler

Peach Cobbler

1 (21 oz) cans of peach pie filling (More fruit ones)
1/2 tsp nutmeg

Cobbler:
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
2 Tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoons salt
1/3 cup butter chilled butter
3 Tablespoons milk
1 egg slightly beaten

Topping:
3 Tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon


Heat oven to 400. In a large bowl stir together filling with nutmeg. Put into ungreased 9x13 pan.

In medium bowl stir together flour, sugar, baking powdera and salt. With pastry blender cut in in butter until flour mixture is the size of peas. Mix milk and egg together well, mix in with the flour mixture stirring with fork until moistened.

Spoon over filling mixture in pan. Sprinkle with topping. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
