3 c Chopped cranberries
1/4 c Brown sugar
1/4 c Lime juice
1 1/2 tb Minced jalapeno
1/2 c Column A:
Minced onion
Chopped celery
Chopped shallots
Chopped dried fruit
Chopped scallions
2 c Column B:
Chopped apples
Diced carrots
Corn kernels
Diced red peppers
Thawed frozen peas
1/2 c Ginger preserves
Gooseberry jam
Orange marmalade
Peach preserves
Red pepper jelly
1 tb Column D:
Mint
Flat-leaf parsley
Tarragon
Cilantro
Rosemary
How to use this Chart: Add an ingredient from each column to cranberries, sugar, lime juice and jalapeno. Let salsa stand 30 minutes before serving.
Berry good ideas: Stir salsa into a creamed soup, such
as pumpkin or squash (1A+3B+1C+2D).
Use it to dress a salad made of oranges and baby greens (5A+1B+3C+4D).
