24 Hour Salad

2 eggs
4 tablespoons vinegar
4 tablespoons sugar
4 tablespoons butter
1 can (19 oz.) fruit cocktail (drained)
2 cups pineapple tidbits
2 cups mini marshmallows
1 cup whipping cream

Crack eggs into the top of a double boiler over gently boiling water. Add vinegar and sugar beating constantly until thick and smooth. Remove from heat and add butter stirring until it is melted. Cool.

When cold fold in whipping cream (which has been whipped) and fruit. Turn into a mold and refrigerate for 24 hours before serving.
