Peach Cobbler
1/4 c. margarine (1/2 stick)
1 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
1 lg (about 28 oz.) can sliced peaches


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place margarine in 9" square baking pan, and place in oven to melt while preheating.

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and milk. Pour into melted margarine in pan. Drain most (but not all) of the liquid from the peaches; pour peaches onto the flour mixture. Stir slightly. Bake for about 40 minutes. Serve warm topped with cream or ice cream.
