Lemon Herb Rice
2 cups water
2 tbl. butter or margarine
grated zest of 1 lemon
juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 cup rice
2 tbl. sliced green onion
2 tbl. favorite fresh herbs
Bring water to a boil; add remaining ingredients.
Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 20 min. or until rice is tender.
Stir in green onion and herbs.
Makes 3-1/2 cups
