2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp grated lemon peel
1/8 tsp salt
1 c butter, softened
4 eggs
1 can (29 oz ) sliced cling peaches, well drained

In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, lemon peel, salt, butter, and eggs. Beat at low speed of electric mixter until well mixed, scraping constantly. Knead ingredients together to form a soft dough. Bake at 350 for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown; toothpick inserted in center should come out clean.

Serve warm. 12 servings.
