Peach Pudding Cake

1/2 c. margarine
1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
2 c. yellow cake mix
1 egg
2 c. milk
1 tsp. almond extract
1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) can sliced peaches


Put 1/2 cup margarine into 9 x 13-inch pan; melt in 350 degrees oven. Blend pudding, cake mix, egg, milk and almond extract until smooth. Stir in the peaches, with syrup, until mixed. Pour batter into pan over melted butter; when butter has risen to the top, distribute it over the batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 45
minutes. Serve with Cool Whip.
