Peaches and Cream Cake

1 box yellow cake mix with pudding
1 cup water
3 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
8 oz. cream cheese
16 oz. peaches, drained and sliced (or more)
1/2 cup reserved peach juice
1/2 to 1 tsp. almond extract, optional


Mix cake mix, water, oil and eggs. Pour into a 9x13 pan, greased & floured. Put cut up peaches on top. In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, peach juice and almond extract. Pour over peaches and spread. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes.
