Spiced Peaches

1 (29 oz.) can of good quality peach halves-drained and reserve juice
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup vinegar
1 tsp. pickling spices.


Combine peach juice, sugar, vinegar, and pickling spices in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Let mixture cook until sugar is dissolved.

Place peaches in a quart canning jar. Pour liquid over peaches--cover and place in refrigerator until needed.

Best if it is left overnight for flavors to marinate.
