Perismmon Pudding-2

1 cup persimmon pulp
1 cup sugar
1 egg
Lump butter, size of egg
1/2 cup sweet cream or milk
1 heaping teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon soda, dissolved in milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2/3 cup flour or enough to make a thin batter


Bake in 350 oven.

Do not stir.

Persimmon Pudding

1 quart persimmons (full)
1 quart milk
3 cups flour
3 cups sugar
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon salt


Preheat oven to 350° F. and butter a pan.

Mix all ingredients and put in prepared pan.

Dot with butter.

Bake about 2 hours at 350.

Stir frequently, until rich brown.
