Chicken Hawaiian

4 chicken breasts, cut into chunks (or 2 1/2 - 3lb. broiler-fryer, cut in serving pieces)
1/2 cup unsifted all-purpose flour
1 tea. salt
1 tea. ginger powder
1 tea. garlic powder
1/4 tea. pepper
1/4 butter or margarine
1 can (20 oz.) pineapple chunks, in heavy syrup
1 tbl. soy sauce

In a clean paper bag, combine flour, salt, ginger, garlic and pepper. Place chicken in bag, shake a few at a time, coating it well. Heat your butter in a large skillet/frying pan and add as many pieces as you can fit at a time and brown them till done.

In a small bowl, combine the whole can of pineapple with the juice and add the soy sauce. Pour all this over your cooked chicken and cover and simmer about 30 minutes or so or until chicken is fork tender.
