Pineapple Whip

Pineapple Whip
Standing time: overnight. Chilling time: 3 hours.

1 lb. marshmallows
1 can (No. 2) crushed pineapple
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 pt. heavy cream, whipped
8 maraschino cherries

Place marshmallows in a bowl. Cover with pineapple. Let stand overnight, tossing several times to soften.

Whip the cream into the mixture, beating until light and fluffy. Put a layer of nuts in bottom of sherbet glasses. Add a layer of pineapple mix. Chill until serving time. Top with whipped cream and a cherry.
