White Christmas Dessert

2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup cold water
1 can crushed pineapple (1-lb 14-oz.)
1/2 cup sugar
2 packages cream cheese (8-oz.each) -- softened
1 jar marshmallow creme (7-oz.)
2 envelopes Dream Whipping topping mix
Red and green candied cherries


Soften unflavored gelatin in cold water. Bring pineapple and sugar to a boil; cook and stir until sugar is dissolved. Stir in well-softened gelatin and set aside.

Beat together thoroughly, the cream cheese. Gradually add the marshmallow creme. Beat in the preceding pineapple mixture thoroughly.

Refrigerate about 10 minutes or so, just to cool it. Prepare the envelopes of whipped topping as directed. Beat into the cooled mixture; pour into lightly oiled 12-cup Bundt or tube pan, or you can use a 9x13-inch glass dish. Adorn with holly berries made by cutting red and green candied cherries, or use your imagination! Chill overnight. If made in a Bundt or tube pan, unmold onto serving dish and adorn.
