(make filling and prep strawberries day before..fill no longer than 4 hours before)
20 large strawberries
1 (3 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
2 TBS finely chopped walnuts or pecans
1 1/2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 tsp orange liqueor
Dice 2 strawberries and set aside.
Cut a thin slice from stem end of each strawberry, forming a base for which strawberry to stand. Cut each strawberry into four wedges starting at pointed end and cutting to but not through the stem end.
Beat cream cheese until fluffy; stir in diced strawberries, walnuts, powdered sugar and liqueur. Spoon or pipe about 1 tsp mixture into each strawberry.
