German Potato Salad
7-8 potatoes
4-5 slices bacon, cut into little squares
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 T. flour
1/4 cup vinegar
salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 cup sugar
water for slightly thick consistency
Cook potatoes; peel and slice. Place potatoes in a large bowl. Fry bacon; remove from pan and add to potatoes. Fry onions slowly in bacon grease. Add flour and stir well. Add vinegar, salt, pepper, sugar and water. Simmer a few minutes and put over potatoes. Mix carefully.
