Ham and Swiss Calzones

2 cans (5 ounce each) chunked ham, drained & flaked
2 cups shredded Swiss cheese Spoon half of the ham & cheese on center of each dough circle.
Makes 2 calzones

Calzones

1 1/4 cups beer -- warm
1 t salt
2 T sugar
1 T olive oil
3 cups bread flour
2 t yeast
Filling:

4 Roma tomatoes -- chopped
3 cloves garlic -- minced
basil -- chopped fresh
1 chicken breast -- cooked and cubed
parmesan cheese -- shredded fresh
feta cheese -- crumbled

Choose your favorite method for making dough. While you're waiting, combine the tomatoes, garlic, & basil, set aside.

Divide the dough in two balls, roll one in a circle approx. 12" in diameter. Layer half of the circle with parmesan cheese, chicken, tomato mixture, and a liberal dose of crumbled feta. Fold crust over & seal the edges. Repeat with other half. Bake at 350 ~15-20 minutes. When done, brush the crusts with melted butter. This makes two good-sized calzones.
