Matzo Balls
3 eggs
3 tbls chicken fat
salt, pepper and cinnamon, to taste
3 tbls ice cold water
1 1/3 cups matzo meal
Beat eggs and spices with boiling water, then add matzoh meal and form into small ball. Let simmer in salted boiling water for 45 minutes. Remove and place in soup , heat and eat.
When making matzoh ball the secret is to keep the lid on when boiling for at least 1/2 hour. Do not even peep.
