Fettuccine Alfredo

2 cloves garlic -- minced
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 tbsp fat free cream cheese
1 1/3 cups skim milk
2 tbsp butter sprinkles
1 cup fat free parmesan cheese -- grated
Freshly ground black pepper
8 oz uncooked fettuccine noodles
1 tbsp fresh parsley -- chopped


Spray a medium-size nonstick skillet with vegetable oil cooking spray and saute the garlic until golden, stirring constantly and watching so that it doesn't burn. Remove the pan from the heat and whisk in the flour and cream cheese until well combined.

Gradually whisk in the milk, place over medium heat, and bring to a boil while stirring. Remove from the heat again and stir in the butter sprinkles, Parmesan and black pepper.

Meanwhile, cook the fettuccine in a large pot of salted boiling water until just tender, following package directions. Drain and mix in the sauce, tossing until well combined. Serve garnished with parsley.
