Chili Popcorn
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
Cayenne pepper to your liking
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
10 cups popped corn *without* salt or oil (1/2 cup unpopped or enough to yield 10 cups)
Butter-flavored non-stick cooking spray or water
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a small bowl, combine the paprika, chili powder, salt, garlic powder, red pepper and parmesan cheese.
Spread the popcorn on 2 large baking sheets and coat lightly with the nonstick cooking spray or water from a spray bottle.
With a fork sprinkle the herbs over the popcorn and toss the coat.
Bake for 5 to 10 minutes or until crisp.
Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
Makes ten 1-cup servings
