Poultry Marinating Sauce
1 c. soy sauce
1 c. oil
1 can (12 oz.) Sprite
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. horseradish powder
Blend ingredients. Marinate chicken (8 to 16 boneless, skinless breasts) or turkey (4 boneless, skinless breasts) anywhere from 3 to 24 hours in refrigerator. Best when barbe- cued on grill.
Turkey Steaks
1 turkey breast, cut 3/4 to 1-inch thick
1 c. lemon-lime or Sprite
1/2 c. Wesson oil
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
Cut turkey breast 3/4 to 1-inch thick. Marinate over- night in remaining ingredients. Grill 3/4-inch thickness for 10 to 15 minutes on each side or 1-inch thickness for 12 to 18 minutes on each side. Great served with Pineapple Au Gratin.
