Brining Meat

1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 Tablespoons salt
6 cups warm water
seasonings, such as peppercorns, bay leaf, sprigs of thyme and/or rosemary, red pepper flakes, soy sauc, ginger and garlic


Stir to dissolve. Add your choice of seasoning. Let it marinate over night. It also works on chops. Just give a shorter marinating time.
