Bacon Mushroom and Swiss Meatloaf

Bacon Mushroom Swiss Meatloaf

1 pound bacon, cooked
4 ounces canned mushrooms
1/2 small onion, chopped
2 pounds lean ground beef
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
8 ounces shredded Swiss cheese
1/2 cup oatmeal


Preheat oven to 350° F.

Drain bacon well on paper towels and crumble into pieces.

In a large bowl mix together all ingredients, except 1/3 cup cheese and 3 Tbl. bacon pieces. Press into loaf pan.

Bake in preheated oven at 350 for 1 hour.

Sprinkle on remaining cheese and bacon. Bake 5 more minutes or until cheese melts.
