Beef: Beerocks

Beerocks (or Runsas)

1 loaf (1 pound) frozen bread dough
1 pound lean ground beef
4 c. shredded green cabbage
3/4c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. ground black pepper


In a large skillet cook ground beef, cabbage, onion, salt, and pepper until meat is no longer pink.

Cut dough into 4 equal pieces. On floured surface, pat each into an 8" square and top with l cup meat mixture. Pinch together two opposite sides of each square. Seal ends and tuck under.

Place on a greased baking sheet. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until nicely browned.
