Beef Brisket

1 beef brisket (first cut, if possible)
1 large onion, sliced
2 cups cooking sherry


Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Season brisket with seasoned salt, seasoned pepper and garlic powder. Slice onion. Put onion on the bottom of your roasting pan; put brisket on top of onion. Bake uncovered for 1 hour at 400.

Turn oven down to 325, add cooking sherry, potatoes and carrots, cover and continue baking for 3 hours.
