Brisket with Sazon Goya Gravy

1 beef brisket
salt and pepper, to taste
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can Campbell’s® beefy mushroom soup
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can Campbell’s® Beef broth
sliced onions and mini carrots, as desired
1 to 2 packages Sazon Goya seasoning


Preheat oven to 300° F.

Brown the brisket quickly on both sides. Place brisket in roaster fat side up. Add salt and pepper, to taste. Add soups, onion and carrots.

Bake at 300 for 4 hours.

Remove from oven and slice brisket thinly and set aside.

Add 1-2 packages of Sazon Goya seasoning to gravy. Return meat slices in the gravy and return to the oven (that has been turned off but still warm) until ready to serve.

Note: You can remove some of the gravy and add a little flour to thicken it.
