Chuck Roast Barbecue

Slow cook 6-9 hours.

1 (2 1/2) boneless chuck roast
2 onions, chopped
1 (12 oz.) can Coca Cola
1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 Tbsp. Apple cider vinegar or white vinegar
1 1/2 tea. beef bouillon granules
3/4 tea. dry mustard or regular mustard
3/4 tea. Chili powder
1/4 to 1/2 tea. ground red pepper
3 cloves garlic or garlic powder
1 cup ketchup
1 tablesp. butter or margarine
Buns


Place roast in 3 1/2-4-quart crockpot. Add onion.

Combine cola, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar or bouillon granules, mustard, chili powder, red pepper and garlic. Save 1 cup Sauce, cover and refrigerate. Pour remaining sauce over roast.

Cover and cook high 6 hours, or low 9 hours. Shred meat with forks.

Combine reserved sauce, ketchup and butter in saucepan; cook over medium heat stirring constantly, until heated through.

Pour over shredded meat and onions or add it to the rest of the sauce that you cooked the beef in.
