Goulash

2 cups chopped onions
2 Tablespoons oil
2 to 2 1/2 pounds round steak cut in 1/4 inch chunks
4 Tablespoons real Hungarian Paprika
2 Tablespoons flour
1 - 2 cups water


Glaze onions in oil in medium high heat. Add meat to onions and brown them kind of dark and crispy.

Begin adding water by tablespoons and scrapeing pan to keep onions from sticking. Continue cooking until all is brown and mixed. Begin adding Paprika.

Keep scrapeing and stirring and slowly adding water to make it all mushy and brown (adding salt and pepper to taste).

Mix the flour with the remaining water and add to the onion / meat mix.

Continue stirring and cooking unil thickened.
