Ground Beef Gravy
1 lb. ground beef
14 1/2 oz beef broth, divided
1 small onion, chopped
2 tbl. dried parsley flakes
1 tbl. dried basil
1 tsp. garlic powder1 tsp. seasoned salt
1/4 - 1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tbl. cornstarch
In large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; Add 1 1/2 c. beef broth, onion, parsley, basil, garlic powder, seasoned salt and pepper. Simmer, uncovered, for 5-10 minutes or until onion is tender. In a small bowl, combine the cornstarch and remaining broth until smooth. Stir into beef mixture. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Yield:3 cups
