2 Large Onions Chopped
2 lbs. kraut
2 1/4 cups water
1 lb. kielbasa
1 tsp. cumin powder
salt and pepper
Brown onions in oil. Add kraut to onions and extra oil as needed, fry until flavors combine and kraut collapses , not necessary to brown.
Add water, kielbasa sliced to liking and cumin powder, salt and pepper.
Cover the large pot and simmer 45-60 minutes on medium-low heat. Cook until most of the liquid is absorbed but, not all.
Leave moist enough to serve over egg noodles or boiled potatoes cubed.
