Pepper Beef Balls
Serves 25

1 pound ground beef
1 egg
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup milk
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
1 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon margarine
1 onion, chopped
1 1/2 cups water
1 chicken bouillon cube
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon ginger
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 green bell peppers, chopped
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons water
1 tomato, chopped

In a bowl, mix together ground beef, egg, chopped onion, dry bread crumbs, milk, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Shape the mixture into 1-1/2-inch balls. Heat oil in a large skillet and cook the meatballs over medium heat until brown; about 20 minutes. Drain.

Melt margarine in a large skillet. Add chopped onion; cook and stir until tender. Add the cooked meatballs, water, chicken bouillon cube, garlic salt, ginger, and soy sauce; heat to boiling. Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add chopped green bell peppers.

Mix cornstarch with water and add to the sauce mixture. Cook, stirring carefully, until the mixture thickens and boils. Cover and simmer until the pepper is tender-crisp, about 3 minutes. Add chopped tomato, cover, and heat for about 2 to 3 minutes.
