Meatballs Vinny Style
from a local deli
2 Lb. ground chuck
1/4 Lb. Italian bread crumbs
2 eggs
1 Cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup Romano or Parmesan cheese
1 Medium Spanish onion -- chopped fine
Meatballs Carlo style
to above ingredients add:
4 oz. diced Genoa salami
4 oz. diced Provolone cheese
Hand mix all ingredients in large bowl. Form desired size meatballs. Sauté in 1/4 cup olive oil over medium heat until brown on all sides. Place in spaghetti sauce and simmer for 1-2 hours (stirring often), or bake on greased cookie sheet 45 minutes at 350.
