Meatballs with Parmesan Cheese

1 lb. lean ground beef (such as sirloin or round)
1/4 cup dry, unflavored bread crumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 small onion, minced (1/4 cup)
2 Tbl. chopped parsley
1 clove garlic, put through a garlic press
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 Tbl. olive oil

Gently mix ground beef, bread crumbs, cheese, onion, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix well. Shape mixture into 1-1/2-inch meatballs.

Heat oil in a large skillet. When it is hot, add meatballs and cook quickly over medium-high heat to brown on all sides.
