Minute Steak Scramble

4 cube steaks, cut in strips
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 cup salad oil
2 green peppers, cut into strips
1 cup bias cut celery slices
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 cup cold water
6 tbsp. soy sauce
3 tomatoes, peeled and cut into eighths
Rice


Season meat with garlic salt and ginger. Heat half the oil in a skillet and brown meat quickly. Remove meat.

Add remaining oil and heat. Add peppers and celery; cook just until slightly tender, about 3 minutes.

Mix cornstarch, water and soy sauce. Add to skillet. Cook and stir until the mixture has thickened.

Add meat and tomatoes and heat through.

Serve with hot rice.
